Mick Davis

Mick Davis is a Canadian singer-songwriter & founder of the internationally acclaimed rock group, The Novaks. A near thirty-year veteran of performing, record-making & touring, Mick's music trek boasts of alliances with Steve Van Zandt & opening dates with KISS, The White Stripes & The Psychedelic Furs. As a guest musician, Mick has perfomed on stage with Big Sugar, Sloan & The John Prine Band. Mick is the recipient of numerous MusicNL & ECMA awards. In 2025, Mick earned MusicNL's prestigious Ron Hynes Songwriter of the Year Award & a SOCAN No. 1 Song Award for his composition "Vibrations". He lives in St. John's, NL.

 

Mick's touring & recording outfit, Thin Love, features Jill Porter (guitar), Craig Follett (bass) & Allan Brake (drums). Together they have shared the stage with Bush, Collective Soul & The Glorious Sons.

Their recorded catalog includes 2022's "Education Week" & 2024's "Garbage Street". The groups latest full-length effort, "Drugs & Behavior", is due spring 2026.
